Boris smiled. "We're going to Tahiti next week."

"The hell is a Tahiti," Olivia mumbled, moving to pull her forearm up over her eyes before being shocked into place by a shot of pain sent tingling through her wrist.

Boris unfortunately didn't notice that. "You'll see. And I hope you love it."

Dear Olivia Liv Olivia,

Ooh, how professors at Hogwarts would have my head. I’m always so indecisive; I honestly wish Trevor didn’t hog all the erasable pens! But- that’s off topic. Olivia, I’m so sorry I haven’t visited in so long! What, has it already been two days? I hope you’ve been reading all those books I left… doubt it. : ) Wouldn’t doubt that you ate all the chocolates though!

But that’s quite off topic. The thing is… I’ve done something very wrong. Very, very wrong. I can’t tell anyone, I trust no one but you, and the thing is, I don’t want you to get in trouble for knowing. Uh… It wouldn’t be wrong if just guessed, right!? Right! Let’s just say a girl you went to Hogwarts with, who went out with a vampire, but both are married to others, saw each other this week. I meant saw each other, at the girl’s house.

What should I tell this girl to do!?

Amanda Summerfield took soon quite literally, and figured a waiting time of five minutes was appropriate. She knocked at the door, shivering in the shock of the week's happenings.

And, as though she'd been waiting with the same definition of "soon", Olivia answered, joining Amanda just outside the door. Fresh air. After drawing a breath or two, she allowed a "dumbass" to take off on the third exhale.

"Olivia what do I do!?" Amanda's voice was high pitched, and her eyes were puffy and red as if she'd been crying. Her appearance was rather conflicting though since the ghost of a smile was still dancing on her lips. She felt ashamed, but also euphoric.

"That was a bit harsh," she reconsidered. "Alright, you're just... juvenile. Real juvenile."

Amanda nervously ran her fingers through her hair as Olivia spoke, eyes darting around. Any moment she expected Trevor to pop out of the bushes and shout, "I caught you!" Like on those hidden camera shows the muggle-box produces. "Yeah... yeah I am. But..."

She took a breath.

"Olivia I think I love him."

"Oh, you LOVE him," Olivia echoed, almost mockingly. She leaned against the closed door, folding her arms and looking rather spiteful.

Amanda silently flailed her hands around for a moment, trying to explain what she meant. The words refused to come out of her mouth. She took a breath and tried once more, "Olivia what if I told you I never really never loved Trevor." She was glancing down at her feet.

"I'd believe you," came the answer after a short pause.

An awkward silence settled in for what seemed a lifetime. Finally, Amanda quietly said, "I thought I did though. But when Wallace and I were... uh, together... it just seemed every single sense what heightened... first day of Hogwarts, but five times better."

"Oh." She tarried a moment before asking in a slightly hushed tone, "My mind isn't, like, in the gutter right now or anything, is it? You did?"

Amanda ran her fingers through her hair, and silently mouthed the word, "Yes."

"Oh." Olivia uncrossed her arms, letting them hang limply at her sides after a momentary stretch. "Well."

"Olivia...what should I do?" Amanda's eyes were wide with panic as she spoke. "Divorce Trevor, or end the thing with Wallace?"

"I wouldn't breathe a word about it for now. Just confront it if anyone brings it up again, or something..." Olivia shrugged sporadically throughout this short dialogue, as though something had stirred up a mite of panic in her gut.

Amanda sighed, "You don't know how much I've been needing to tell someone."

"Probably."

The phone rang, Serenity on the other side. "Come on, pick up."

For whatever reason, they had a home phone. After five rings, the line was answered. "Hello."

"dat ho wit a weave made outta my little pony dolls? Hi.. It's Serenity. I was in the park, when I just saw your brother."
