I decorated trees today.

For Devin, I got him this CD full of music of ours that we've both gone through, I'm knitting him two slices of watermelon, hockey tape, chocolates, gloves, and I'm painting this picture of the bridge in which we had our first kiss on.

For my dad I got him a recipe book with Italian recipes, and I HOPE he likes it, since he doesn't know how to cook it'll help him right?

For my mom I got her this mug with a heart-shaped peace sign on it.

For my friend Oksana, I got her a Kingsley hat and this photo album set since she loves photography.

For Kayla, I got her a toque (she's been wanting one for ages), and a scarf. It was hard finding the toque, since her head is so small. XD

For Nicole, I got her this gold liquid eyeliner.

For Sarah, who I got in this secret Santa thing, I gave her two really pretty necklaces- one with tons of little charms such as a leaf and a peace sign, and another that was this crystal dangling from the chain. They're both SO pretty.. ;___;

For Danielle, I got her a makeup set thing.




So far, what I've gotten, is this:
-A Beatles shirt with each Beatles member on it!! ;A; I LOVE it.
-Beautiful mittens.
-A gray shirt that's a LITTLE small, but I'll still wear it for Oksana, since she got it for me.
-A beautiful burgundy cardigan, ugh I love it. It's perfect with my Beatles shirt. XD
-CHOCOLATE
-Fuzzy socks <3
-Ordinary socks
-those little tissue packets :A
-Bracelets!!
-And my secret Santa (Anna) got me a gift card with 20 dollars to this art store, and oh man, I can't wait to go. 8|

But all those gifts are from my friends so.


I really like Christmas. Also, for dinner, I'm making the Christmas dinner with my brother and dad, so it'll be a great time to bond and stuff.

OKAY FOR THE CHRISTMAS DINNER WITH MY DAD AND BROTHER:

I've made all of this... (My brother helped me with the potatoes and chocolate cake though!)

Appetizer:
Homemade bread and fois gras (This French stuff)

Meal:
Pan-fried potatoes with truffles and onion
Turkey breast with sliced apple and cinnamon
Lentil and tomato soup

Dessert:
This chocolate cake that is all moist and melts in your mouth, and mostly tastes like brownie than anything else... :A



So yeah. I've had the most fun making the homemade bread and chocolate cake, though. And at one part, as I was cutting the onions, my eyes started to cry so much, and I rubbed them but my hands were covered in onion juices so. Yeah. It hurt a lot. :A

i got books galore (the importance of being earnest, a collection of surrealist short stories, catch-22, others that are still in the mail. 1Q84 is there too aaaaah!!!) and my mom's old canon she got for christmas when she was my age.
i'm giving people love and not being mean to anyone all day.

I got books too. I got this complete works of Shakespeare and I swear it's bigger than the Bible. You could kill someone with it.

I haven't gotten my gifts from my mom yet, I will soon though!

I got these two ENORMOUS sketchbooks. I'm ecstatic. Then, I also got this art set with a little model that I can put in positions and draw, with charcoal and this kneaded eraser along with and ordinary eraser, and professional colouring pencils that work wonders.. I god a bunch of different types of penciles in it, too!

Then I got these lovely shorts, and ugh the most beautiful boots... THEN I GOT SO MUCH MONEY.

I'm bulked up on money, you guys. :A

For dinner with my mom we had...

Appetizer:
Coconut shrimp
This exotic asian dish with tuna sashimi and avocado.

Main Course:
Spinach and potato salad with homemade mayonaise sauce
Lobster with homemade mayo

Dessert:
Glazed Chestnuts with homemade whipped cream

YES I DID OH MY GOD LOBSTER IS AMAZING IT'S HEAVEN IN CRUSTACEAN FORM.

LOBSTER? I've never even TASTED it before.
