i finished One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest today

it was marvelous. wonderful characterization. even those who didn't have but one or two lines of any worth felt present enough. the ending, though... damn.

Augh. Okay, so, I just remembered this book I read about a kid who couldn't read at all, and then he got this teacher who helped him read, and made him draw letters on a board with soap, and taught him how to read, and it was amazing, and I just remembered it but I read it ages ago and I don't remember what it's called. ;____;

So yeah apparently Itoi's an actual LIT writer on top of Mother.

Most of what I've read so far sounds like it could have come right out of the early games, too (sort of unfortunate that's all i can think of to compare it to </3). He's great.

You didn't know that? <3 Itoi is awesome. He's sort of like a... Renaissance man or something, in Japan. He dabbles in all sorts of fields.
