Okay. When writing this I was tired, grouchy, and generally very PMSing, but I think there is some truth in this, so take it how you like it.

Why don't we ever fucking roleplay? I swear, our post count average per day is like five. A lot of us are on here for a majority of the day. Isn't that ridiculous? We waste so much time just sitting around and shitting but we do nothing?

All we ever do is said around and talk about random obscure things in the chatbox. We never talk about anything deep or meaningful anymore, and when we do, someone has to ruin it with some stupid losing the game or song combo breaker with random "lol!!!" like comments. We're all grouchy and tired.

Honestly, I don't know about you guys, but I'm tired of wasting my time here.

No, you all personally aren't waste of times, but the act of slaving away on here just staring at a screen like a drone waiting for a reply that will never come is a waste of time.

We all used to roleplay a hundred posts a day originally, so why don't we do it anymore?

Do we not have the will?
[Is it not enjoyable?
Or are we just too lazy or 'don't feel like'?

We're all guilty as charged. We all have been disappearing, slowly. We've all been breaking off into our own little cliques. And worst of all, we've all been fading.

I don't know about you guys, but roleplaying has helped me improved my writing immensely and I don't want to loose it. It's too much of a powerful bond to break. And honestly, I miss the old days, much as I hate the actual messages in the roleplaying... just the fun and how often we did it... it's too precious.

And I miss the friendships we all used to have... the times when we weren't so separate and always fighting and bitching... again, we're all guilty as charged, but you know what's the silliest thing about our problems?

We can fix them.

I'm sure we can all take a few minutes each day just calmly updating about our lives, and having a little discussions and posting a tiny bit. It would probably take less than ten minutes.

Ten minutes, and then you can move on with your life. It only takes ten minutes.

And I know I sound like a pledge break on PBS, but I think there is some truth in what I'm saying. We've all become bitches in our own right, and we need to come together and repent. And now I just want to cry and bake a cake and a time machine and go back in time, to stop all of this from ever happening... it's too sad to see...

Hater's gonna hate.

Remove it then on the other forum. We can just post on topics if we want to talk like we used too.

I just wish we could get along like we used to in middle school. I wish that I could write a post made out of literacy and fun and we'd all be happy...

Okay, jokes aside. Honestly, I feel the same way, and I don't know about you guys, but the main reason I haven't been posting near as much as everyone else is that I don't feel the... excitement. I don't feel the same joy I used to back in first-gen, and I've been trying to get real life back on track which really is taking a lot of my time. I've become a lot more focused on things that are going on in my actual life and not what I'm doing on the computer.

That being said, yes, we have broken off into our cliques. It was inevitable, honestly. We've all grown as people since we met about four years ago (four years!) and we, like our writing styles, like our characters--have developed. We're a bunch of wangsty teenage girls, there's no way around that issue. And, because of certain events and viewpoints, I will freely say that I'm closer to some people than others. (Y'all know who you are.) There's no "y r we not friends w/each oder no moar??/??" because the answer is plain and simple, and painful.

We're growing up.

I mean, I met you guys when I was starting sixth grade, and now I'm going to be in tenth grade. That's a huge difference in age and maturity and all sorts of things, and I'm definitely not the same person I was four years ago. And, well, four years ago, the person I was never had writers' block or didn't want to roleplay because I felt like poop. In fact, I always wanted to roleplay. I'd always look forward to it. I don't have the same mentality. None of us do, no matter how we feel like we haven't changed. It's probably because of that that we're not roleplaying as much and we have like a five PPD rate rather than a 100 PPD rate.

Honestly, I miss getting dizzy from having to reply at light-speed to four places at once. Once upon a time, many nights ago, I remember barely having time to work on anything else or talk in the chatbox because we were roleplaying so much... I miss it.

That's understandable. I was about to talk about growing up and all that, but I forgot. But anyway that's not the point.

The point is that you can make yourself enjoy something, you know. Like, a lot of people are like "Blah blah blah I'm having problems with my characters and others blah blah blah." and I was thinking about it is that we're not having enough PRACTICE with our new characters and our Regen characters. Remember how on first gen when we all HATED our characters? We buckled down and actually worked on them. Why can't we do the same? Honestly, it just takes some effort, but it can be done.

But as I said before, it takes ten minutes.

Another thing I should bring up-random disappearances. I think that if we poof we should tell others where we're going, so we can have some sort of idea how long you're going to be gone for. That way, we can find something to do instead of just sitting around and waiting awkwardly. Fair enough?

Also, I read this book called The Four Agreements. I think if we try applying them to ourselves on the forum, we'll all be happier with ourselves.

1. Be Impeccable With Your Word.

2. Don't Take Anything Personally (This, I have too struggle with.)

3. Don't Make Assumptions

4. Always Do Your Best

What do you think?

Oh, Liza, that's so true.. I really want to make it happen again. And I think we CAN with little fixes, you know? And I have some ideas in my head.
