Third Floor- Library Empty

Hidden behind several towers of askew books sat none other than Clyde Fannings. It felt as though school had just started, yet he had managed to accumulate what seemed like a month's work of work. He chewed on the feathery tip of his quill, debating how many times he could get away with repeating the topic sentence of his essay.

"Clyde Fannings!" said a voie that was a couple notches too high for the library. Of course, it was none other than Rachel, looking frumpier than usual. Her hair was sticking out at funhouse-esque angles, her left sock dropping towards her ankle instead of her knee.

"You have to explain yourself! Professor Flitwick wanted us to peer edit each others essays on the levitation spell!" Rachel waved around a very wrinkled piece of parchment, and then shoved it in front of Clyde's work.

"You still need to do mine! And if we don't get our essays checked by at least three other students, we can't practice the spell in class tomorrow!"

Clyde stared blankly at the paper, and then back at Rachel. Wordlessly, he loosened his tie a little more and then glanced back at her paper.

Through clenched teeth, he muttered, "I feel like I was just the first peer you managed to run into." He continued to rapidly make marks on her paper, noting a few mistakes here and there.

"I was planning on just using different colored inks and handwriting on mine."

"No. Professor Flitwick assigned you to my paper last class. Don't you remember?" Racehl snatched the parchment back, and scanned his corrections.

"Anyway, I think that Wallace Vainglory has been looking for you." she stuffed it back into her bag, further wrinkling it.

"Honestly? Slept through bits of that class. Was working on a Potions essay the night before." Clyde stretched, yawning.

"I figured. Have too much homework to hang out with him..."
