Potions: First Year, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor

Jennifer was the first in the class, as she hated it. She knew she should have waited for Brian or Anthony, even Dianna! She was desperate for a companion, or just someone else for the professor to occasionally glance at.

She looked down at the floor, counting each stone one by one. Matt said whenever in doubt, it will pass the time pretty quickly. She figured he used this maneuver quite a bit in classes.

God! Why did she ditch Brian like that last night? That creep Kyle could have done anything... Brian must be so mad! She would be. Afterwards just to make everything worse she lost ten points for Ravenclaw since a prefect caught her.

Jennifer twirled a piece of her blandly straight (in her opinion at least) hair around her finger, attempting to pass as much time as quickly as she could.

Natalie entered first, eying Jennifer, and sat behind her, then prodded her back with her wand. "Hey, Jenny!" she said beaming. Brian sat next to Jennifer and grinned at her nervously. "Last night was kinda weird huh?" Brian said.

Jennifer greeted Natalie and Brian quite happily, she wasn't a loner anymore! "Yeah, I actually got caught on my way back... Sorry I left you, I just got really freaked." She looked down at her shoes, noticing that one of the petals on the flower which was on the shoe was missing.

Brian shrugged. "I can't even remember what happened after you left, so it's okay."

Jennifer looked up quickly. What could that creep have done? No... Brian was probably just too tired to remember. "You must have been pretty sleepy!"

"Hi." Dianna mumbled, pushing right past them all and sitting down, seeming a bit miffed. She hadn't slept well the night before, and.. Well, she was grumpy.

"I didn't sleep very well, so probably. Hey, Dianna. But yeah, it's really annoying.."
