The Browns were standing here, giving each other heartfelt goodbyes, and hugs, and all that stuff. Leah stood on the side with her arms crossed, looking around dazedly. She turned to her mother, and frowned. "Mom, this year, can you please TRY to not act like my mom?"

Leah's mother frowned. "Why would I do that? Are you ashamed of me? Why would you be ashamed of your MOTHER?"

Leah glared. "I'm not ashamed! It's just that I want to be a bit on my own, okay?" she snapped and turned away. Where was Caroline or Matilda?

Derek and Cam were having an animated conversation about cars and planes and Brian was looking extremely nervous. "Mum, when will Anthony be here?" he asked, looking up to his mother with big blue eyes.

"Well, you know how the Sawyers are, sweets!" Kelsi said, ruffling his hair even more. "C'mon, we'll try to find them ourselves. Goodbye, kids!" she said, with a big hug to each of them, and a kiss on each forehead- or an attempt for Derek, considering how tall he was getting- and went off with Brian.

AND THE SAWYERS ARRIVED YEAH.

Rachel kept her promise, and there she was at the train station, fluttering around her children like a bumblebee. Since Nick had to go back to work, she had enlisted the help of Sophia, and both of them were all helping each other out to get their stuff on the train.

And so, she was all giving them a final hug and kiss, before running off.

"Oh, goodbye James...-and James, I don't want to get any letters about you abusing your powers as Prefect, okay?-I don't want anymore letters from Professor Brown about you yelling 'inappropriate' stuff into the megaphone during Quidditch games, okay? She had a very nasty message about you, the last time. ...Victor, remember. It wouldn't hurt joining a club besides the Literature Club this year, okay? And Emily, don't go around scaring boys, okay? That can wait until you're a fourth at least... oh, and Anthony, if you're scared the first day, don't be afraid with sticking towards, Brian, okay?"

With everyone ready to go, Rachel apparated.

"Brian!" Dianna cried, running up to him, laden with suitcases. "Hi, Brian. How was your summer? I can't BELIEVE we're going to Hogwarts! We have to sit together on the train, with Anthony, too!"
She looked rather nice for the first day of school, her hair all braided, her clothes perfectly ironed. But, the girl was still extraordinarily nervous, hoping to impress everyone.
"And we should have lots of fun! Talking, and being scared.."
Behind her was her mother, looking tired- and further down the train platform, Caroline was there with her family, talking away. "Another wonderful year at Hogwarts.. Hooooogwarts.. Fun." She said, in her most bored voice.
"Honey, you cannot blast toiletseats off toilets anymore. Stop. I'm serious! Listen to me, CAROLINE YASHNID!"
Caroline was obviously, not listening.

MEANWHILE,
Obscure Tommy Waller was leaning on a wall, being.. hipster. And underground.

"Hey!" It was Zachary. He had appeared beside Tommy, and was smiling. "How was your summer?-Wait, we should go find a compartment, before they are all filled up."

The Silvas arrived. It was just Libby with her four kids--three of which were going off to Hogwarts. Isaiah had to stay at home. "Now, kids. Stay out of trouble, get good grades, all that jazz. You know what I expect from you," she said, hugging each of them and sending them off, taking Isaiah with her.

Matilda looked around for Leah or Caroline, naturally. Josiah went to get on the train while looking for his girlfriend.

"MATILDA!" Caroline shrieked, going and hugging her friend, running away from her harassed mother. "How are you? God, I'm so tired of school already. This is a hellhole. I just want to run free."

"Caroline!" Matilda cried, squeezing Caroline in return. She dropped her trunk, but at least it didn't pop open or anything. "How can you be tired of Hogwarts already? It's only our second year! Oh--I'm good, how are you?"

Brian looked at Dianna. "My summer was great! I had a lot of fun. We saw each other a bit, though, right? And we have to find Anthony, still!"

Leah followed Cameron through the crowds of people, both with identical facial expressions; slight annoyance. "See Lucy?"
"No. See Immanuel?"
"No. Why?"
"I have to return a book."
"I wish it wasn't so loud here."
"Well bye." He turned sharply to go off onto the train. He probably was embarrassed to be next to his younger, and taller little sister.
Leah sighed, and continued walking slowly through the crowd, still hunting for Matilda and Caroline.

Amber looked around eagerly for Will, her hair sleekly behind her shoulders. She turned to her younger sister, Natalie, who looked a bit nervous, and was eying the place interestingly. "So, what's supposed to happen?" she asked Amber.

But, her youngest sister butt in. "Technically you go on the train," she said boredly, pushing her glasses up her nose.

Natalie glared down at her, and decided to ignore this. "Bye mom, dad!" she said, and hugged each one. Then, she ran off. They already got the speech and such before leaving to go there. She looked around at everyone, and the steam in the air and blahblahlbalhl

There were many things Elroy Astor was. He was a doormat, to some degree. He was, on occasion, far too blunt for his own good. Something Elroy was not, however, was resentful... usually. And the ongoing feud between he and his ex-wife would not keep him from seeing his children off at the platform. He kept his distance from Serenity, knowing well that his presence alone was upsetting her enough, and had gotten most of what little talking he had to do finished on the train ride to King's Cross. As he watched his daughter separate from them to run off with a few of her little friends, he couldn't help but notice the striking resemblance she bore to her mother at that age. He had never once thought of Serenity as particularly attractive in her first year.

Unlike the year prior, Wallace was accompanying his lovely Julia and their demon spawn to say his goodbyes. Somehow, he'd managed to convince the head editor to let him have an hour or two off before work that morning. Perhaps the load wasn't too heavy, and the Tribune was able to spare the extra set of hands. There they were, a group of glittering fools, laughing and carrying on as though nothing was amiss in the world. After all, with such an esteemed and unprejudiced icon serving as minister, what COULD go wrong?

Phil was wandering around the platform, waiting for one of his friends to arrive, so he wouldn't look so alone. But, he thought that he looked more awkward just standing there, but he didn't care.

Over that summer, something changed in him. It was hard to say exactly what it was, as it wasn't very major-at least on the outside, anyway. He just had a small smile on his face, and perhaps slightly tighter pants, then usual.

It was at that moment that Alexander Digandi, in all his skinny-jeans, blood-on-the-dancefloor glory came trudging over to a similar pillar and slouched down against it. He reached up and stroked his neon-streaked bangs aside, letting out a heavy sigh. What was wrong with the rest of the world?

Serenity kept shooting glances over at Elroy, her heart fluttering nervously- with hatred. That's what she told herself, at least.

Meanwhile, Dianna was still chatting away.

"I wonder where he is. I'm so worried, you know. Not about Anthony, he's cool, but.. I'm just worried."

Oh look! A familiar face! Or, at least Phil thought he was familiar. It was hard to tell with that neon colored hair, it was so distracting. But, he strutted forward, and with each step, he grew more confident. Indeed, this was Phil DiGandi.

"Hey!" He waved at him. "I like your hair! What did you do to it?-Besides dying it."

A bit more discreetly than she, Elroy was stealing the occasional glance at Serenity as well.

Alex looked Phil over with a condescending dullness in his visible eye. "Brushed it," he answered, deadpan.

"That's impossible." Phil pointed at that swoop that was covering Alex's left eye. "How could you just brush your hair and expect to get that shape?" Phil, despite being who he was, didn't know much about hair care.

Alex blinked, then finally gave a little. "I straighten it a tad, usually. Just a tad; I don't want it getting all, like, burnt, and shit..."

"Hmm..." Phil ran a hair through his fine, rather short auburn colored. "I have no chance of me ever being able to do that to my hair."

"Thanks for the positive attitude." Phil stared at Alex. No wonder he didn't have many friends.

Alex gave a one-shouldered shrug, and gazed off down the train tracks.

Leah kept walking annoyedly, when she noticed somebody leaning somewhere lazily. He was very attractive, she had to say so herself. VERY attractive. She continued to stare at him, trying to figure out his name. "... He's very attractive." she thought, and walked towards him.

Woe was Anthony.

Being the short little lad he was, he often gotten lost in large crowds. And here he was, in the middle of a crowd now. Many people had arrived now, rushing to get their children on the train, and to say their last goodbyes. There was a lot of pushing included in all of those, and racing to get the best seats on the chair. Without his parents or siblings who had ran off to do their own things (Will, who had promised to keep a watch on him, ran off when he spotted his girlfriend), he was feeling rather overwhelmed.

She went up to the attractive boy. "Excuse me, hello. How did you do your hair like that?" she asked him, beaming with big eyes.

Natalie, too, had suddenly gotten lost from wandering off. She stumbled a bit, looking around, not feeling TOO afraid. It's not that hard to get lost considering how you know where the train is. But, she still felt quite confused, either way, and scratched her curly hair. Suddenly, she saw something. A short boy, in a breaking of the crowd, stood there looking ever-so frightened. He looked so CUTE and PATHETIC, just standing there, like a baby puppy with great big eyes darting around him frightfully. Natalie sighed, and felt her insides form into unpleasant knots. The poor guy! She then pushed past people, stomped right over, and grabbed him by the shoulders. She was at least a forehead taller than him, and pulled him into a great big hug.

"AGH!" Anthony yelped from surprise, and how tight the squeeze was. It cut off his air circulation, and besides that, it was all rather strange. "Hey, please get off-" And he struggled to free himself from the arms that were clasped around him.
