Amanda's attention turned back to Julia with the conversation switch. "As best as we can I suppose. It's going to take quite some getting used to!" She said with a bit of a laugh.

It was a lovely Wednesday afternoon, the sun was high in the sky and shining.

Ring ring ring

"Hello?" Julia answered, naturally.

There was a momentary silence, as if the speaker on the other line had pulled the phone away to cuss. "Hey Julia! I was just wondering if you had any good cookie recipes? All of mine seem pretty over done." Amanda quickly covered up her motive with baking.

"Oh, Amanda! How nice to hear from you. It's certainly been a while, umm..." The sound of a shuffling file. "What sort of cookies? Any?"

It'd be a few weeks to be exact. That's when Amanda and Wallace had...

"Oh, I know, too long! But yes, any would be splendid!"

So she then rattled off her favorite recipe for a nice batch of oatmeal-raisin cookies that her grandmother used to make for her when she was younger -- a rather intimate detail; though, considering what bosom friends they'd become, she thought little of it.

And in return Amanda had spoke of how lovely that must have been, and threw in some casual small talk before their conversation ended.
